Garrett Haley, against all odds, this fresh faced singer from Ohio has beat out a long list of a Season 7 American Idol hopefuls to be in the top 24.
Garret was nothing short of splendid at his Hollywood auditions. Even though they didn't show much of Garrett Haley's performance, he still went on to the top 24.
I look forward to seeing Garrett each week on American Idol. He has his hands full this year with the increased number of Professsional singers that American Idol has let into the competition. Some think that this puts contestants like Garrett Haley at a disadvantage.
I guess only time will tell whether or not Garrett Haley has what it takes to compete against other performers with formal training and experience singing in front of crowds. I do have to admit, it seems like a huge hill for him to climb. I hope Garrett Haley and the other non-pro's can pull it off on season 7 American Idol
