Garrett Haley

Garrett Haley is a contestant on Season 7 American Idol. We don't know much about Garrett Haley other than he comes from Ohio and one of his musical influences is the Backstreet boys and that he likes Soccer and Video games. For some reason, Garrett traveled all the way to San Diego to audition.

Since Sanjai was such a big hit last season with some teen and most pre-teen girls, look for this baby faced crooner to also be a big hit the the females.

Some are saying that this is what American Idol was meant to be. You see, Garrett Haley has no formal singing training. He just walked up to the audition and belted out his lyrics. There is a growing backlash among faith American Idol watchers because there are so many professional singers in Season 7 American Idol.

Garrett Haley is not among them. He has a fresh voice, but I worry that he'll be no match for the other pro's once the real competition starts. Of course, if this backlash with American Idol watchers continue's, Garrett Haley may be the big surprise as people refuse to vote for the pro's and vote for the raw talent like Garrett's.

It will be interesting to see how Garrett Haley and the other truley "new" faces handle the pro's on season 7 american idol. I wish Garrett Haley and all the others on season 7 American Idol all the luck.
